Love Ministries Services

Love Ministries conducts and sponsors a variety of programs, classes, retreats and ministries to
reach out to and meet the needs of disadvantaged urban young people. Many of the youth are
from single parent homes and from homes where one or more of the parents are incarcerated. Many
of the programs are aimed at improving the academic classroom participation and performance of
young people and helping them develop goals of attending and graduating from college. All of the
programs are with faith based emphasis and are founded upon the Word of God.

		TREE (The Retreat ExperiencE):
		Weekend of fun, fellowship, praise, worship, prayer, teaching, and sharing.
		Reach Up Ministry: Provides weekly
		teaching and guidance for young people.
		Power Ta lks Ministry: Provides
		mentors, guidance, and educational advancement opportunities.
		Hungry/Homeless Feeding Ministry:
		Monthly street ministry provides food and personal items to the hungry/homeless.
		Christmas Outreach Ministry:
		Provides at least one Christmas gift to less fortunate children and teenagers, letting them know they are important to Jesus and to us.

		Winter Retreat: A time for fun and
		concentrating on personal time with Jesus.
		Teenage Discipleship Ministry:
		Program designed to lead youth in making sound life choices designed to shape their entire life and get them into the job market.
		Jesus Party: Teaches teenagers, college
		students and career young adults acceptable social skills.
		Field Trips: A program designed to
		combat Juvenile delinquency by providing wholesome activities.
