Love Ministries’ Highlights
Love
Ministries,
with
mentors
conducts
over
100
educational
and
counseling
sessions
with
an
average
weekly attendance of 200 youth from the community.
Initially
many
do
not
have
relationships
with
Jesus
nor
have
goals
of
attending
college.
During
the
course
of
each
year
nearly
all
of
them
come
to
accept
Jesus
Christ and become members in various local churches.
Many
of
them
come
to
view
college
attendance
as
an
obtainable goal.
The
annual
Youth
College
and
Career
spring
retreat,
The
Retreat
ExperiencE,
(TREE)
has
over
100
attendees
consisting
of
youth
from
Love
Ministries,
local
churches
and
college
students
from
various
colleges
throughout
the
state
of
Texas.
These
young
people
leave
with
a
heightened
awareness
of
the
presence
of
Christ
in
there
lives
and
a
renewed
commitment
to
be
an
example
and
leader
among
their
peers.
Also
during
each
year
Love
Ministries
provides
sack
lunches
and
toiletries
for
1800
homeless
people
and
provides
Christmas
presents
for
200
disadvantaged
youth.
